Attractive remuneration level with special benefits

We want to reward our employees' commitment and deliberately offer them individual benefits that are above average.

Based on the provisions of the collective agreement, our employees receive a monthly base salary and capital-forming benefits, as well as vacation pay and a Christmas bonus. Employees with children receive an additional child allowance.

In addition, depending on the company's performance, our employees receive a profit-sharing bonus in April for the respective financial year.

We offer an attractive company pension scheme to supplement the statutory pension and private pension provision. Pension modules are created for each year of employment, which are granted as a company pension upon reaching the standard retirement age.

In addition, there is the option of deferred compensation (direct insurance or pension fund based on tax-deferred compensation pursuant to Section 3 No. 63 of the German Income Tax Act (EstG)) with attractive special conditions and interest rates.

In the event of illness, our employees receive up to 42 days of statutory continued pay. After that, we grant a supplement to sick pay for up to 46 weeks (depending on length of service).

Our group accident insurance provides round-the-clock protection—even privately and worldwide. It is worth checking whether individual private accident insurance is still necessary.


There is a flat rate for working on-call shifts during the week. In addition, actual work assignments are remunerated with bonuses (e.g., night, Sunday, and holiday bonuses).

Our employees benefit from an attractive subsidy on our electricity rates as well as other discounts and special conditions.

Annual leave: Our employees are entitled to 30 days of paid leave per calendar year. In addition, December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 31 (New Year's Eve) are public holidays.

Bridge days: Bridge days are defined by the employer and can be taken by employees at their discretion, taking into account the interests of the company. The working time lost is credited individually to the working time account or to the vacation entitlement.

Our employees can use the company's own seminar and vacation homes for private purposes at favorable conditions. These are located in attractive vacation regions such as Obermaiselstein in the Allgäu, on the island of Reichenau in Lake Constance, and at Lake Titisee in the Black Forest. In addition to the opportunity for a relaxing vacation, they also offer a variety of special events (such as power fitness days) and weekend packages (such as a wild game weekend). Furthermore, the Vorarlberger Illwerke AG vacation home in Montafon is an ideal location for a pleasant summer or winter vacation.


Netze BW's sports groups bring together like-minded people to pursue their active hobbies. Depending on the location, there is a wide range of sports to choose from, including badminton, basketball, running, cycling, rowing, diving, climbing, volleyball, table tennis, dancing, and qigong. The sports groups receive financial support and offer the opportunity not only to do something good for yourself, but also to get to know other employees in a relaxed atmosphere. When people play sports together, departmental boundaries blur and the sense of camaraderie among employees grows.

In addition, the WellHub program is available at all locations (except Karlsruhe). This gives our employees access to a wide range of fitness and wellness offerings that can be used flexibly – for greater well-being and balance in everyday life.

Netze BW is also involved in the cultural sector. Exhibitions held directly on site in Netze BW buildings provide inspiration in everyday working life. Together with our cooperation partner, we provide you with comprehensive advice on all aspects of care: from information on care options to concrete support, for example in negotiations with health insurance companies or the organization of care services. We are here to help and advise you so that you can find the right support in every situation.

The importance of health becomes apparent at the latest when it gets out of balance.

To prevent this from happening, we support our employees with our health management program. This includes a whole range of health and prevention measures. These range from health days and nutritional counseling to on-site courses on topics such as stress management, back health, Nordic walking, autogenic training, progressive muscle relaxation, and yoga.
