You can apply quickly and conveniently online via our careers page. Our online application process only takes a few minutes. Simply apply with your resume, your XING or LinkedIn profile, or create a profile directly in the tool.

Your complete application should include the following documents:

You can apply for different positions at the same time. Multiple applications have no effect on applications that are already underway.

A fair and transparent application process is of great importance to us. We are committed to providing additional support to applicants with disabilities to help them perform at their best. Depending on the job, occupational medical examinations are required. You will receive a date proposal from us. The employment contract is concluded subject to the proviso that there are no restrictions for the intended activity in accordance with the company medical pre-employment examination. Our doctors are subject to confidentiality. We only receive feedback on whether there are any concerns.

Depending on the activity and location, our employees have the option of working from home in coordination with their manager. In addition, there is the option of mobile working in the sense of location-independent working thanks to mobile devices provided by us.

At Netze BW, we do not agree on a contractually defined probationary period. During the first six months of employment, a collectively agreed notice period of six weeks to the end of the month applies. After the first six months, the German Protection Against Dismissal Act (Kündigungsschutzgesetz) comes into effect. Questions about the online application process

After you have submitted your application, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. We will review your application and do our best to get back to you quickly. This process can take some time. We ask for your patience.

As a rule, the conversations with us are conducted via Microsoft Teams. You will receive the dial-in link after confirming the appointment.

If we decide on you, we will contact you with an offer after the interview.

3. Checking the documents

We are excited and look forward to reviewing your application in detail. As we will also be consulting with the relevant department, this will take some time.

4. Get to know each other

If your application documents convince us, we look forward to getting to know you. The process may vary depending on the position. For some positions, there will first be a telephone interview, while for others you will be invited directly to an interview. During the interview, you will meet representatives from the HR department as well as colleagues from the relevant department. We will inform you in advance of the exact type of interview in the invitation.

5. Feedback after the interview

After the interview, we will give you prompt feedback on whether we have decided to hire you and what the next step will be. In exceptional cases, when interviews are scheduled over a longer period of time, it may take a little longer to provide this feedback. In this case, we will of course inform you accordingly. After the interview, you are welcome to ask our recruiters for personal feedback.

6. Contract documents and onboarding

  • Design your CV in tabular form in anti-chronological order, starting with the current job.
  • Decorate your relevant professional stations with meaningful bullet points on your main tasks.
  • Give us an insight into what makes you who you are as a person. Examples of this could be: hobbies, volunteering, IT skills, stays abroad, languages.
  • You can underline the information in your CV with proof of the highest educational qualification and the most recent relevant job references.

  • A conversation is a first time to get to know each other and takes place mainly virtually.
  • Ensure an undisturbed environment throughout the conversation.
  • Choose a neutral background and pay attention to the right lighting.
  • Test the technology in advance (stable internet connection, camera, headset or microphone on the laptop, power supply).
  • Dial in to the appointment about 10 minutes before.
  • Mentally go through possible questions and possible answers.
  • Focus on the conversation and don't be distracted by ambient noise (cell phone, music, TV).
  • Have a pen and a piece of paper ready for notes during the conversation.
  • Pay attention to appropriate clothing, which should also be based on the job description when getting to know each other digitally.

The assessment center takes place either virtually or in person. Our assessment centers are largely individual assessments and are made up of several components.
  • Components of an assessment center can be, for example: presentation, role play, interview, case study.
  • If the assessment center takes place in person, plan enough time for the journey.
  • Find out in advance about our company as well as current topics in the press, on our website or social media.
  • If you receive a task in advance, invest time to prepare it in an appealing way.
  • During the assessment center, we would like to learn more about you. Think of specific examples to describe your skills.

Your applicant data will be automatically anonymized six months after the last application is completed.

Only the department with employees who need your data to carry out the application process has access to it. This usually involves employees in the human resources department and the specialist department within which the positions are to be filled. In addition, the works council has access to the data as part of its right of co-determination.

Pursuant to Article 8 of the GDPR, we require the consent of the legal representative or legal guardian to process the personal data of persons under the age of 16. To this end, we ask that you complete and sign the following document and attach it to your application. Otherwise, we will not be able to consider your application in the application process!

For positions in particularly system-critical areas, our recruitment process includes more in-depth checks to ensure the accuracy of applicant data. Interns at Netze BW work full-time, i.e. 38 hours per week.

As a working student, you are allowed to work a maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester and a maximum of 48 hours per week during the lecture-free period. On average, our students work around 15 hours per week.

No. Netze BW only employs enrolled students who are not on leave of absence in working student/intern positions and for the preparation of final theses. Your final exam (submission of your thesis or date of your last exam) is decisive for your graduation date.

EXCEPTION: Only if you wish to complete an internship as part of your training or retraining, or if you wish to complete a legal internship, do you not need to have a certificate of enrollment.

No. Netze BW only employs enrolled students who are not on leave of absence in working student/intern positions as well as for the preparation of theses.

An internship at Netze BW lasts a minimum of eight weeks and a maximum of up to six months. Depending on the examination regulations, writing a thesis usually takes between six weeks and six months.

The specific topic of your thesis will be discussed in a possible interview. The departments present topics to you and you have the opportunity to place your desired topics. You will then discuss the finalized topic with your supervisor at the university.

The amount of remuneration for working students and interns depends on your progress in your studies, the type of internship and the duration.
